MESSAGE FROM CLAUDETTE
To
the members of the family,
It was a pleasure working on our first reunion two years ago and it seems
that family members, young and old, want to continue the tradition with
a reunion next summer on the last Saturday of July 2009, God willing.
This time around, Velouse Jean-Jacques, daughter of Man Zanna, (Clifford's
mom) will be hosting the event with help from many others including myself.
In the next few weeks you will be receiving a "Save the date announcement"
and other information from Velouse.
I hope you will give her the same strong support that was given to me
to ensure the success of the event.
John, the girls, and I are looking forward with great anticipation to
seeing you all in Florida next year for another day of fun.

History was made!!! The Reunion was wonderful.
The Picnic was held July 29, 2006 at the historic Waterloo Village site in northwestern New Jersey. We had the park to ourselves and we were blessed with great weather. The sun does shine on our family.
Festivities at the
park began at 11 AM and continued until about 5 PM. The wait staff treated
us grandly and remarked about what a nice family we have. John was told
by the staff that we were the nicest, most polite, and best behaved group
that had ever had. We should be very proud of this praise.
The banquet was held at the beautiful Wyndham
Hotel and began at 7 PM. The dinner and tribute to our Papi Roro was
dressy and we looked great! By all accounts the reunion was an affair
not to be missed. What a great joy it was to reacquaint ourselves with
family members we had not seen in a long time ... or ever! The feeling
throughout the day and night was special. We have a great family and the
day crystallized the reality of that fact. The tributes were inspiring
and for the finale we did some fine dancing. What fun! Our memories of
the reunion will warm our hearts for a long, long time.
To have such great participation from near and far (very far indeed) was telling about the committment we have for our family. There is no need to say more. For the record, we had 135 present. Some turnout! (Check out the group photos
